 As technology advances, art must not be forgotten. One of the goals of this project undertaken by NASA was to immortalize this new beauty and prove "that America produced not only scientists and engineers capable of shaping the destiny of our age, but also artists worthy to keep them company." In exploring these concepts through literature, Borges' own writing follows suit.
