Kelvin and Hari's replica are about to kiss. But the circumstances are ambiguous, considering the nature of Hari's copy as a manifestation of Kelvin's memories of his late wife. In one regard, Hari's replica is bound to Kelvin no matter what. On the other hand, Hari's copy is able to find meaning and connection despite her circumstances, showing that she does possess human emotions and thoughts.
